It is definitely worth discussing with your wedding venue whether they offer affordable guest accommodation as part of your wedding package. If you are getting married in a hotel or country house, then check the availability of the rooms there and suggest these to your guests before looking elsewhere.
It is likely that some wedding packages may ask for a minimum number of rooms to be booked alongside the wedding, therefore ensure that these are booked first before offering alternative wedding guest accommodation.
