Who to Invite
Your hen party guest list traditionally included the mother of the bride, sisters, bridesmaids and other important ladies in your life. It is also becoming popular to invite your best male friends. Many brides decide on having both a friends hen and a family hen, keeping things more low-key compared to a crazy night out with your girls.
Stag do’s tend to have a “more the merrier” approach.
Hen Ideas
Typically the hen party is organised by the maid of honor, but if you want to be involved in the planning process then we have some ideas for you.
It can be difficult to please everyone, depending on the activities you choose or the location. The most important thing is that you, the bride, enjoy yourself!
So what can you do for your hen party? We love the idea of a spa day with the girls, cocktail making classes and more! Many of these establishments offer a package that is inclusive of food and champagne, what more could you want?
If you do want to make a weekend of it then why not look at renting a big country house for the weekend, which isn’t always as expensive as you might think once it is split down into price per head. You can do crafts, afternoon tea and theme nights to name a few ideas!
Stag Ideas
There are a few firm favourites for a stag party like going to the races or a game of golf and beers.
It is popular to go for a weekend away but if you want to keep the prices down for everyone involved we recommend keeping it local.
The main thing with both stag and hen parties is that you enjoy yourself! Spending it with your friends and family should be enough to make sure that whatever you end up doing, everyone has a fabulous time!
Discuss with your best man or maid of honour what you would like and they can start planning!
